“Don’t All Religions Lead to God?”
When: Friday, 6.30pm
Where: Ramsey House
The Encyclopedia of Religion defines religion this way:
“In summary, it may be said that almost every known culture involves the religious in the above sense of a depth dimension in cultural experiences at all levels — a push, whether ill-defined or conscious, toward some sort of ultimacy and transcendence that will provide norms and power for the rest of life. When more or less distinct patterns of behaviour are built around this depth dimension in a culture, this structure constitutes religion in its historically recognizable form. Religion is the organization of life around the depth dimensions of experience — varied in form, completeness, and clarity in accordance with the environing culture.”
Man, I don’t know about you, but I got lost reading the first sentence. Anyway, this Friday we’ll be having a very intriguing look at religion, with James asking the question: “Don’t All Religions Lead to God?”
Spread the word, and do bring along some friends who might be interested! The discussions would probably not be as mind-boggling as the quote above, but it’ll definitely get you to think. So see you this Friday, 6.30pm, at Ramsey House (8 Kelburn Parade)!

Christian Soccer
Do you want to play soccer this season, with a great bunch of guys? We have entered a team in the Capital Six division of the league competition, starting in April. This is a great opportunity for building community and having great fun while showing our faith through the way we play. If you are keen to be a part of this actual club team and have enthusiasm to play a majority of Saturdays let me know. You don’t have to be a Ronaldinho, but should possess some skills in the beautiful game. If you have friends either Christian or not also get them involved, it would be a great outreach tool!
